Portakabin Events increases presence at the Showman's Show

A highly successful year has led to an increased team at Portakabin Events, resulting in even higher levels of service to customers.

Visitors to the stand at this year’s Showman’s Show got the opportunity to meet the new team members as well as experience the high quality buildings and services available from Portakabin Events.

Jonathan Reid, Portakabin Events General Manager, said, ‘We’re delighted to have all these new people on board. The expansion of the team is testament to the success the business has experienced over the last year and the hard work that everyone has put in to achieve this. Most importantly this will mean that our customers will receive an even better service.’

Among the new recruits is Derek McBride who has recently joined the organisation as Portakabin Events Manager in Scotland. The other people to join the team are based in the company’s Rugby office and include, Kevin Payne (Events Supervisor), Alan Pare (Service Operator), Paul A’Barrow (Hire Controller), Sonya Zabinski (Hire Assistant), and Hayley Pearson (Hire Assistant).

The Portakabin Events stand at the Showman’s Show featured a range of buildings for customers to view, including the Portakabin Luxe shower unit. This has been designed and developed exclusively for events in response to customer demand for relocatable showers that offer more space and higher levels of comfort.

The building includes six extra-wide shower cubicles and changing areas, providing much more personal space than any other relocatable shower facilities. In addition Portakabin Luxe showers are gas-powered to provide constant temperature and high-volume water flow.

Jonathan Reid commented, ‘We wanted to be able to offer event organisers shower and changing rooms that provide the same quality and comfort that people would find in their own homes. Thanks to the excellent work of our experts here at Portakabin, we are now able to do this.
